WS-909 is an amplifier dedicated to 9-line multiswitch installations (HotBird + ASTRA). The device is used to amplify the multiswitch bus signal when a large number of multiswitches must be cascaded or there are very long distances between the multiswitches or the multiswitch and the satellite dish.

The amplifier has a built-in correction of the cable characteristics (the slope of the characteristic 10dB). The advantage of the WS-909 is a very high maximum output signal level of the amplifier both in the SAT and terrestrial paths. This allows the amplifier to be installed at short distances from the SAT dish, without the risk of distortion.
