Akyga® AK-OT-02S is a CEE 7/7 power cable designed for repairing or replacing a damaged cable in electrical appliances. One end of the cable is fitted with a ready-to-use CEE 7/7 plug, whilst the other end features bare wires for direct connection to the appliance.
This solution is ideal when the original cable has been cut, frayed or damaged, and there is no need to replace the entire appliance. The cable can be used, amongst other things, in domestic appliances, audio-visual equipment, power tools and other devices powered by a 230 V mains supply.
3 × 1.5 mm² copper conductors
The power cable is made up of three copper conductors with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm². These correspond to the live, neutral and earth conductors. Copper ensures effective current conduction, whilst the appropriate conductor thickness allows the cable to be used even in appliances with higher power requirements.
The cable has rubber insulation, which increases its flexibility and makes it easier to route during installation. Thanks to its robust construction, the cable is well-suited to everyday use, including bending and movement.
CEE 7/7 Schuko plug
The CEE 7/7 plug used is a standard popular in Europe that combines Type E and Type F solutions. As a result, the CEE 7/7 power cable is compatible with typical sockets used in countries such as Poland, Germany and France.
The hybrid CEE 7/7 design enables correct earthing in both type E sockets and type F Schuko sockets. This is particularly important for appliances that require a protective conductor.
